Halloween Culture in Canada and How It Differs from Japan
When October arrives, Canadian towns turn a warm shade of orange. Pumpkins fill the stores, and ghosts and skeletons appear on doorsteps and lawns.The whole neighborhood seems to transform into a Halloween wonderland. In Canada, Halloween is all about “Trick or Treat!” As the evening comes, children in costumes go door-to-door collecting candy. A house with its porch light on means “We're giving out treats!” Neighbors happily prepare big bowls of sweets to welcome the kids. W
