Nanny availability depends on the service area, each nanny's schedule, and the details of your request. Please review each nanny's profile and submit a request to the nanny who best fits your family's needs.To improve the chances of finding availability, we recommend providing your second and third preferred dates and times when submitting your request.

The nanny fee and any applicable taxes must be paid in full before the service begins for each booking.For bookings made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, payment is required immediately after your booking is confirmed.A booking is confirmed only after payment has been successfully completed.If your service extends beyond the scheduled end time, the extension is subject to the nanny's availability. Additional charges for the extended time must be paid within 24 hours.If the service ends after 10:00 PM, the family is responsible for providing transportation or covering the nanny's transportation costs (e.g., Uber) to ensure the nanny's safe return home.For services provided outside the City of Toronto, an additional transportation fee may apply.

If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, a cancellation fee of up to three hours of service will apply.If a booking is cancelled more than 24 hours in advance, no cancellation fee will apply.If repeated schedule changes or cancellations occur, KOKORO Smile Nannies reserves the right to decline future booking requests.All payments must be processed through KOKORO Smile Nannies and must not be made directly to the nanny.

Under the placement model, once a match has been confirmed, the family and nanny will communicate directly to arrange the ongoing schedule and agree on working conditions.KOKORO Smile Nannies supports the introduction of nanny candidates, trial coordination, and preparations before the nanny’s start date. After the placement begins, scheduling and payments are handled directly between the family and the nanny.To help ensure a smooth start, we will assist with confirming the agreed terms and provide any necessary guidance before the nanny begins working. The health and safety of your child and our nannies are very important to us.Many KOKORO Smile Nannies caregivers support multiple families. To help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.If your child or anyone in your household is unwell, please inform us of the symptoms and circumstances when submitting your booking request. ※Availability for sick-child care varies by nanny.Care may not be provided in the following situations:A fever of 37.8°C or higherVomiting or diarrheaAn ear infection associated with a contagious illness Eye discharge, redness, irritation, or other eye-related symptomsHeavy, thick, or discoloured nasal dischargeDifficulty breathingSignificant lethargy, unusual fatigue, or behaviour that is noticeably different from usualSymptoms that appear to be highly contagiousHead liceAny other potentially contagious illness or medical condition Regular care may resume only when the following conditions have been met:For fever or other mild symptoms, the individual must be symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medicationFor gastrointestinal symptoms such as vomiting or diarrhea, the individual must be symptom-free for at least 48 hours without medicationFor an ear infection, at least 24 hours must have passed since starting antibiotics, and pain medication must no longer be requiredFor eye discharge or symptoms that may indicate conjunctivitis, when treatment is required, symptoms must have remained under control for at least 24 hours after treatment beganFor head lice, appropriate treatment must be completed and no live lice may remain Please note that cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time are subject to our standard cancellation policy, and a cancellation fee of up to three hours of care may apply.
