Here’s how KOKORO Smile Nannies connects families with warm, reliable nannies.
We make the process simple and personal, so you can find the right caregiver for your family with peace of mind.

Contact Us
Fill out our Google Form or contact us through our website form / email to let us know what kind of support you’re looking for.

Consultation
We’ll arrange an online consultation to understand your family’s needs, schedule, and preferences.This helps us match you with the most suitable nanny.

Agreement
After confirming the service details and terms, we’ll send you a service agreement form. Please review it carefully and sign before the matching process begins. This ensures that both parties understand and agree to the service policies.

Matching
We’ll introduce a nanny who best fits your family’s needs.
You can review their profile and thier rates, and have a meeting or trial session before making your decision. You may select your preferred nanny as long as options are available.

Service Start
Once matched, the nanny will start at your scheduled time.
KOKORO continues to support both your family and the nanny to ensure a warm, trusting relationship
Our Rates
Policies
Rates
Starting from $30 per hour (per child)
Depending on qualifications and experience
• Experienced ($30-)
Nannies gaining hands-on experience while completing KOKORO training. Hold a background or qualification in childcare, education, or healthcare, or have experience working with children through internships or volunteering
• Skilled ($33-)
Have some practical childcare or nanny experience, or are in the process of obtaining qualifications. May include those with overseas childcare experience or medical backgrounds (e.g. nurses) Able to handle basic support duties independently. This tier may also apply to those who hold formal qualifications but have limited experience with the requested age group
• Pro ($35-)
Hold formal qualifications such as ECE, teaching licenses, or pediatric nursing. Have sufficient hands-on experience with the requested age group
• Additional sibling: +$2 per hour
• Additional child from another family: +$3 per hour
• Night shift (10 pm – 7 am): +$2 per hour
• Holiday fee: +$2 per hour
• Last-minute booking (within 24 hours): +20%
※ Minimum booking: 3 hours
Payment & Cancellation Policy
Payment :
• For each appointment, the payment for a Nanny’s Rate and applicable taxes thereon must be made in full before the appointment
• For last-minute bookings (within 24 hours), payment is required immediately upon confirmation
• Bookings are confirmed only after payment is received
• If your booking extends beyond the scheduled time, and only if a nanny is available, please complete the payment for the extra hours within 24 hours after the appointment
• For services ending after 10 pm, clients are required to provide or cover safe transportation for the nanny (e.g., Uber)
• For services located outside of downtown Toronto, additional transportation fees may apply
Cancellations :
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will be charged a minimum of 3 hours.
• Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will not incur any charge
For Full-time / Part-time placements :
• Payments are made monthly through KOKORO Smile Nannies, with payment due on the 15th of the preceding month.
• Biweekly payments (on the 15th and the last day of each month) are also available upon request.
All payments are processed through KOKORO Smile Nannies, not directly to the nanny.
• For full-time or regular shift arrangements, Guaranteed Hours (agreed weekly hours) are required to ensure schedule stability for the nanny.
• Statutory holidays are paid in accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act.
